About Virtual Backpack
Anamosa Community Schools has launched a Virtual Backpack to share flyers from community organizations who wish to provide information regarding educationally-based programming and events. Any flyer that traditionally would go home in a student’s backpack will now be found in the school’s Virtual Backpack.
The Virtual Backpack is intended to cut down on the use of paper going home and provide a repository for parents to find information in an organized location.
Please submit materials electronically to your building’s secretary at least 1 week prior to your preferred posting date.
Information containing any of the following criteria will be prohibited:
- Is obscene to minors;
- Is libelous;
- Contains indecent, vulgar, profane or lewd language,
- Advertises any product or service not permitted to minors by law,
- Constitutes insulting or fighting words, the very expression of which injures or harasses other people,
- Is against school policy or any state/federal law.
