The Anamosa Community School District utilizes two student surveys to gather information on how to best support our students. The District resumed administration of the Panorama Survey in the 2022-23 school year. The survey is utilized to help the Counseling Department work with staff on providing a supportive environment for all students. The Core Survey has been requested by the Jones County Healthy Youth Coalition. The survey is used to determine needs in substance use prevention and to apply for grants to fund programming.

Core Survey
- 6th, 8th, and 11th-grade students with the IYS like we usually do.
- 21 questions (including demographic questions) so probably a few minutes.
- We have done Survey Monkey in the past, but can do Google Forms or whatever you prefer.
- share the results of the survey back with the school district, both the school district data and the county data. Will be summarized compared to other years and trends we are seeing. The combined county data is used for applying for grants and grant reporting to determine outcomes and to continue the work of reducing youth substance use prevention and mental health wellness promotion so hopefully benefits your students, their families, your staff, and the community as a whole.
