The District’s insurance carrier for work comp is SFM. When reporting an accident, you must do so within 24 hours of the event. Please contact Angie Jess RN BSN with questions.

You were injured at work…now what?

If you were injured as a result of your job and it happened during work hours, you are probably eligible for workers’ compensation benefits. These are established by state law to compensate you for lost wages and to pay medical and rehabilitation bills.
