QUORUM FOR MEETINGS
Purpose: To provide guidelines for membership necessary for the transaction of business.
Policy: The majority of the total membership of the Board shall be necessary to constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. A majority vote of those present shall be necessary and sufficient to pass any motion or to take any action of the Board unless the vote of a greater number with respect to the particular subject matter shall be required by law or by other Board regulation or policy.
A quorum need not be present to adjourn a meeting.
