FOREIGN STUDY
Purpose: To provide guidelines for study programs outside the country.
Policy: Plans for study programs outside the country are not considered school sponsored.
Proper insurance and liability protection shall be guaranteed for the protection and safety of
participants by the sponsor organization/company. The District shall not be placed in a position
of personal liability.
The Board shall review information from the outside vendor contacts.
Sponsors are not paid or employed by the school to promote for the student program. Promotion
of such programs should be done off site.
