What is your favorite part about your job? The students! I love coming to school everyday and interacting with the students!
What do you like best about the Anamosa Community? I love that Anamosa has become home for my daughter, Kinsley, and me. I feel like we were welcomed into this community with open arms.
Tell us a little about yourself: I graduated from the University of Iowa with my B.A. in English and Psychology. Several years later I returned to school and earned my teaching degree from Mount Mercy University. I have a six-year-old daughter, Kinsley. She attends kindergarten at Strawberry Hill Elementary. Together Kinsley and I enjoy watching movies, going to the park, reading, baking/cooking, and what she refers to as “art projects” but what I refer to as “making a big ol’ mess.” This year Kinsley has experienced firsthand the excitement of tailgating and attending Iowa football games – Go Hawks!
