How long have you been in the district? This is my first year 🙂
What is your favorite part about your job? One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to spend my days with awesome middle schoolers! This age group is my favorite and I love to help them cultivate their passion, whatever it may be (although I hope its science!)
Tell us a little about yourself: I graduated from UNI (Go Panthers) with my BA in Elementary/Middle Level Education in 2013. After subbing for a little while I got a job as a 7/8 Science teacher in West Branch, IA where I was for the past 5 years. My husband and I live in Marion and we welcomed our first child in December of last year. When I am not working I love spending time with my extended family (being a mom and an aunt are my two favorite things!) and reading a good book.
