Congratulations to the team of Ryan Ruppel, Joe Brown, Mitch Engelbart, and Coleman Dimmer for placing fourth in the David Ricardo division of the Iowa Economic Challenge. Lacey Smith, Braeden Payton, and Dakota Bierer placed eighth. Both teams qualified for the state competition which will take place next Wednesday at the Federal Reserve Bank in West Des Moines.
Abe Claussen-Tubbs, Sam Kenny, Grayson Weers, and Madelaine Fischer placed first in the Milton Friedman division, which is for middle school students. The team comprised of Abram Evers, Chloe Breitbach, Leah Brown, and Nick Raine placed second. Ally-Anna Wheeler, Jenna Woods, Aphton Farrington, and Emily Meyer also took part in the event.
